What we deliver
Twara Technologies prepares apps for the Apple App Store and Google Play, manages submissions and releases, and improves store listings after launch. The service can be used on its own for an app built by another team, or as the final stage of an app we build for you.
Launch is where technical work, policy compliance and marketing meet. An app that works perfectly can still be delayed by an incomplete privacy disclosure, a missing demo account or an organisation account that has not finished verification. We plan these items from the start so that launch day is more predictable.
Typical scope
- Developer account enrolment guidance, access roles and ownership checks.
- Signing certificates, keys and release configuration held securely in your accounts.
- Pre-submission compliance reviews against the current store guidelines.
- Privacy policy hosting checks, Apple privacy details and Google Play Data safety form.
- Beta testing through TestFlight and Google Play testing tracks.
- Store listing content: name, subtitle or short description, full description, keywords, categories and age ratings.
- Visual assets: icon, screenshots and preview videos for each required device size.
- Localisation of listings for additional languages and markets.
- Release management: phased releases, staged rollouts, release notes and hotfix process.
- Post-launch optimisation: listing experiments, ratings and reviews workflow, and conversion analysis.
Technologies we work with
| Purpose | Tools | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Store management | App Store Connect, Google Play Console | Worked on in your organisation’s accounts with role-based access. |
| Beta distribution | TestFlight, Google Play internal, closed and open testing tracks | Tester groups matched to the purpose of each test round. |
| Release automation | Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, Codemagic, GitHub Actions | Repeatable builds, signing, metadata upload and screenshot generation. |
| Analytics | App Store Connect App Analytics, Play Console statistics, Firebase Analytics | Store conversion data alongside in-app behaviour. |
| Crash and quality | Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, Android vitals | Monitoring stability during staged rollouts. |
| Experiments | App Store product page optimisation, Google Play store listing experiments | Built-in testing of icons, screenshots and descriptions. |
How we approach it
- Audit readiness. Check accounts, agreements, signing, metadata, privacy disclosures and the app itself against current guidelines.
- Close the gaps. Fix compliance issues in the app or listing, prepare demo access, and write review notes.
- Beta test. Run structured beta rounds with defined goals and collect feedback before public release.
- Prepare the listing. Copy, keywords, screenshots and preview video, reviewed for accuracy and clarity.
- Submit and release. Submit for review, respond to reviewer questions, and release using phased or staged rollout so issues can be caught early.
- Monitor. Watch crash rates, ratings and reviews in the first days after release, ready to pause a rollout if needed.
- Optimise. Plan and run listing experiments, then apply what wins.
Store requirements we plan for
- Apple App Review. The App Store Review Guidelines expect submissions to be final versions with working URLs, demo account details for apps with a login, a privacy policy link in App Store Connect and inside the app, and in-app account deletion where account creation is offered. They also require in-app purchase to unlock digital features or content.
- Apple privacy details. Developers must describe their app’s privacy practices in App Store Connect, including those of integrated third-party code, to submit new apps and updates.
- Apple organisation enrolment. Organisations enrolling in the Apple Developer Program must be legal entities, need a D-U-N-S Number (government entities excepted), and need a functioning public website on a domain associated with the organisation.
- Google Play organisation accounts. Google Play states that an organisation developer account cannot be created without a D-U-N-S number, and that organisation details must match the Dun & Bradstreet profile.
- Google Play testing for new personal accounts. Personal developer accounts created after 13 November 2023 must run a closed test with at least 12 testers opted in continuously for at least 14 days before applying for production access.
- Google Play Data safety and target API. Every published app must complete the Data safety form, and apps must meet the current target API level requirement.
- Beta capacity. Apple’s TestFlight supports up to 100 internal testers from your team and up to 10,000 external testers.
Optimisation, measured
On the App Store, product page optimisation lets you test up to three alternative treatments of icons, screenshots and preview videos against your original page, for up to 90 days. On Google Play, store listing experiments compare graphics, and in localised experiments descriptions, against the current listing. We design these tests around a single clear hypothesis each, so results are meaningful.
Engagement options
- Launch package. Readiness audit, submission and release for a defined app version.
- Release management. Ongoing handling of builds, submissions and rollouts alongside your development team.
- Optimisation programme. Recurring experiments and listing improvements, delivered with our support and maintenance service.
Tell us where your app is in its journey, whether that is pre-launch, stuck in review or live and under-performing.
