Corporate Websites & CMS

Corporate and institutional websites on a content management approach that fits your team, with clear structure, strong accessibility, search-friendly foundations and governed publishing.

Capabilities

What we deliver

01

Structure before style

Information architecture, page templates and content models are agreed first, so the site stays coherent as it grows.

02

The right CMS for your editors

Traditional, headless or no CMS at all, chosen by who edits, how often, in how many languages and with what approval steps.

03

Reusable component library

A set of designed and built content blocks that editors can combine safely, without breaking layout or brand.

04

Accessible by design

Templates designed and tested against WCAG 2.2, with editor guidance so new content stays accessible after launch.

05

Search-ready foundations

Clean URLs, structured metadata, sitemaps, fast pages and a tested redirect plan when replacing an existing site.

06

Governed publishing

Roles, draft and review workflows, scheduled publishing and revision history so the right people approve the right content.

What we deliver

Twara Technologies designs and builds corporate websites for companies, institutions, non-profits and public-facing organisations. These sites carry your reputation: they explain what you do, support recruitment and investor relations, publish news and documents, and turn visitors into enquiries.

We pair the site with a content management approach that fits how your organisation actually publishes. That could be a full CMS with editorial workflow, a headless CMS feeding several channels, or a static site where content lives alongside the code. The aim is the same in each case: content that is easy to keep accurate, and a site that stays fast, secure and consistent for years.

Typical scope

  • Content audit, stakeholder interviews and audience mapping.
  • Sitemap, navigation and page template design.
  • Content modelling: the fields and relationships behind each type of page, such as services, locations, people listings, news and downloadable documents.
  • Visual design aligned with your brand, delivered as a reusable component library.
  • CMS configuration, user roles, workflows and media management.
  • Forms with spam protection and routing to the right inbox or CRM.
  • Multilingual set-up where needed.
  • Migration, redirects, analytics and launch.

Technologies we work with

Approach Options When it tends to fit
Traditional CMS WordPress, Drupal Editors want a familiar all-in-one tool; the site is the main channel; a large plug-in ecosystem is useful. Drupal for complex permissions and multilingual structures.
Headless CMS Strapi, Contentful, Sanity, Directus Content feeds a website plus apps, kiosks or partner sites, or you want a modern front end decoupled from editing.
Static or hybrid front end Astro, Next.js, Nuxt Speed, security and low hosting cost matter, often paired with a headless CMS.
Git-based content Markdown in a repository Content changes infrequently, a developer is involved anyway, and you want versioned, reviewable changes.
Hosting Managed WordPress hosting, static hosting with a CDN, cloud platforms Chosen for running cost, operational skills and traffic patterns.

We avoid recommending a platform because it is fashionable. A CMS your editors find confusing will lead to an out-of-date site, however good the technology underneath.

How we approach it

  1. Discover. Stakeholder interviews, analytics review, content audit and a look at how content is approved today.
  2. Structure. Sitemap, navigation, page templates and content models, reviewed with the people who will maintain them.
  3. Design. Visual design of key templates and a component library, tested at phone, tablet and desktop sizes.
  4. Build. CMS set-up and front-end development in increments, with editors given early access to staging to try real content.
  5. Migrate. Content moved, checked and cleaned; media optimised; redirects built and tested.
  6. Launch. DNS cut-over, analytics checks, sitemap submission and post-launch monitoring.
  7. Train and hand over. Editor training, an illustrated handbook and administrator documentation.

Quality, security and performance

  • Accessibility. We design and test templates against the W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, a W3C Recommendation with three conformance levels: A, AA and AAA. Because editors create much of the content, we also give them practical guidance on headings, link text, alternative text and documents.
  • Performance. We measure templates against Google’s Core Web Vitals, which treat Interaction to Next Paint of 200 milliseconds or less and Cumulative Layout Shift of 0.1 or less as good. Images are resized and served in modern formats, and scripts are kept to what the page needs.
  • Security. CMS hardening, restricted admin access, two-factor sign-in for editors where the platform allows, minimal plug-ins, and a regular update routine. We review custom code against the OWASP Top 10.
  • Search continuity. When replacing an existing site, we follow Google’s guidance to use server-side permanent redirects from old URLs to their new equivalents.
  • Privacy. Forms collect only what the enquiry needs. If you collect personal data in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 requires that a consent request be accompanied or preceded by a notice; we build notices and consent capture where your advisers confirm they are required. These provisions are being brought into force in phases; our DPDP guide tracks the dates.

Engagement options

  • Fixed-scope project. Well suited to most corporate websites once the sitemap and templates are agreed.
  • Phased delivery. Launch the core site first, then add sections, languages or integrations in planned phases.
  • Ongoing support. Updates, backups, monitoring, content help and small enhancements through our support and maintenance service.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which CMS do you recommend?

There is no single answer. WordPress suits many organisations because editors know it and the ecosystem is large; Drupal suits complex permissions and multilingual structures; headless products such as Strapi, Contentful or Sanity suit sites that share content with apps or other channels. We recommend based on your editors, integrations and hosting preferences.

Can the website support several languages, including Indian languages?

Yes. Multilingual structure, translation workflows, language switching and appropriate fonts for Indic scripts are planned at the content-model stage, because retrofitting them later is costly.

Will our existing content be moved across?

We audit what you have, agree what to keep, rewrite or retire, and migrate the rest using scripts where volume justifies it. Every migrated page is checked, and old URLs are redirected.

Can our marketing team build new pages without a developer?

Yes, within the component library we create. Editors can assemble pages from approved blocks, which gives flexibility while protecting brand, accessibility and performance.

How is the site kept secure after launch?

CMS core, themes and plug-ins need regular updates. We can handle this under a support agreement, or document the process for your team, including backups and how to test updates before applying them.

Have something you want to build or fix?

Tell us what you are trying to achieve. We will reply with questions, options and an honest view of what it would take, whether or not we are the right fit.
